Breakfast at Prestoller House
When you step into the dining room at Prestoller House for breakfast, you know you are in for a treat.
The room is light and airy with a lovely outlook over the garden. When weather permits, breakfast can be taken on the pretty terrace.
Attention to detail runs through everything Adrian and Caroline do. They ensure all food ingredients are chosen for the best quality and taste, and locally sourced whenever possible. There is delicious home made bread using top quality Wessex Mills flour, locally sourced jams and marmalade together with a choice of cereal, muesli, yoghurt, fresh fruit salad made each morning, and refreshing, “full of orange bits” orange juice.
Save room if you can for the full English breakfast. Piping hot and beautifully cooked including succulent and very tasty sausages from an award winning Devon butcher, locally sourced bacon, juicy vine tomatoes (from the garden in season) locally sourced free range eggs (cooked whichever way you like), chestnut mushrooms and black pudding.
Special dietary needs are well catered for including gluten free and vegetarian options, and if you have any specific requests, just ask in advance.
There’s always a friendly atmosphere at breakfast and Adrian and Caroline always have time for a chat with their guests.
